Hannah McTier named recipient of 2012 John Duggan Scholarship

This scholarship is given each year by the Washington Woman’s Club to a deserving senior who exemplifies the spirit, enthusiasm, athleticism, sportsmanship and scholarship qualities of John Duggan.

Hannah will attend at Berry College in Rome in the fall where she plans on majoring in nursing and biology to become a part of the healthcare industry.

Hannah lettered in softball all four years of high school and played soccer. She was an officer for the past three years in the Future Business Leaders of America Club, a member of the Health Occupation Students of America, and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Washington Woman’s Club member Paula Suggs made the presentation to Hannah and extended the club’s best wishes to her as she continues her education.
