Former Lady Tigers will continue to play basketball



Sanquela Gresham and Tynisha Walton (seated, l-r), former standouts for the Washington-Wilkes Tigers girls basketball team, have signed to continue their basketball careers as they continue their education at Middle Georgia Tech in Warner Robbins, Georgia. Joined by their Tiger coach, Nakia Brinson (left), and local recruiter Dr. Roderick Hilton (right), also assistant principal at Thomson High School, the girls made their decisions official in a brief ceremony at W-WCHS last week. On hand were their parents (standing, l-r) Sandra Gresham, and Leo and Sara Walton.
