The News-Reporter accompanied Greg Callaway and Madeline Reeves to Oceanside, California, for a week to visit Reeves’ sister, Mary Kate Dauler. Dauler is living across country while her husband, Corporal Trent Dauler, USMC, is stationed at Camp Pendleton. While there, they visited Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. The 100-acre zoo is home to over 3,700 rare and endangered animals representing more than 650 species. It is also home to a botanical collection with more than 700,000 exotic plants.
