Ariel Brown chosen for membership in Nobel’s NSHSS

Ariel R. Brown, a student at Washington Wilkes Comprehensive High School has been selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars, according to the organization’s founder and chairman, Claes Nobel, a senior memb er of the family that established the Nobel Prizes.

“On behalf of NSHSS, I am honored to recognize the hard work, sacrifice, and commitment that Ariel has demonstrated to achieve this level of academic excellence,” Nobel said.

Membership in NSHSS entitles qualified students to enjoy a wide veriety of benefits, including scholarhsip opportunities, academic competitions, free events, memberonly resources, publications, participation in programs offered by educational partners, online forums, personalized recognition items, and publicity honors.

Ariel is the daughter of Robin and Brian Tyler of Tignall, and Kenny and Monica Brown of Ft. Drum, New York.

Formed in 2002, the NSHSS currently has more than 530,000 members in over 160 countries.
