Twin Oak Baptist Church will host a three-night revival, Monday Wednesday, September 24- 26, at 7 p.m. Rev. Paul Hull will deliver the messages.

The Washington-Wilkes Toastmasters Club will meet from 6 - 7:15 p.m. on Monday, September 10, and Monday, September 17, at the Mary Willis Library. A “speech-a-thon” will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Thursday September 27. Transforming Life Ministries will host the 19th Anniversary and Pastoral Celebration of Amethyst D. Wynn on September 23 at 3 p.m. at the Third Shiloh Center. Special guests will be Bishop Jonathan Greer II, and the Divine Love Fellowship Church from Atlanta, along with the Springfield Praise Dancers. Dinner will be served immediately after the worship service in the dining area, and a special community ministry will convene in the parking lot. The public is invited.

The New Sutton Temple Baptist Church will sponser a “Fundraiser Plate and Yard Sale” Saturday, August 25, at 8 a.m. There will also be items marked “Free” availiable for anyone who might not have anything to give. The plates will include two side items, one meat, and a drink. The public is invited.
