The Fall Cruise-In on The Square is this Saturday

Ross and Louise Maynard pose with their Ford Model T depot wagon, one of many old cars expected at the Memory Lane Cruisers Fall Cruise-In. The evening of old cars, food, and family fun is this Saturday, September 1, from 5-8 p.m. on The Square in downtown Washington. Admission is free to the public, and antiques, hot rods, trucks, and motorcycles can enter for a $10 registration. A dash plaque will be given to each entry. Tommy Landrum’s Cruzin’ to the Oldies will provide music for all ages. Money raised at these events is donated by club members to support several Wilkes County organizations and services, including the Washington-Wilkes Animal Shelter, the Wills Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Mary Willis Library, the Wilkes County Unit of the Salvation Army, the Washington Fire Department, and God’s Marketplace.
