Wilkes 4-H’er exhibits at Clemson show

Wilkes County 4-H’er Madison Gunter participated in the South Carolina Junior Beef Round-up held at Clemson University last month. Madison placed fifth in her showmanship class and received honorable mention in the commercial breed show with her heifer while competing against 24 beef exhibitors in her weight class. Madison is the daughter of Danny and Monica Gunter of Rayle. She was joined at the show by her family. “We wish Madison luck as her show season begins. This is her first year competing in the beef project and we are very excited to have her represent the best of Wilkes County 4-H,” said 4-H Agent Audra Armour.
