HOSA members earn distinction at conference

Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School HOSA officers attended the organization’s Fall Leadership Conference in Atlanta on November 8-9, where Ivy Safrit, Region 7 Representative, led the Region 7 meeting and was also in charge of a workshop called “Collegiate HOSA: What Happens after High School.” Ivy also created a pin design entitled “Georgia HOSA On My Mind” which won second place at the event.

Wishah Aamir, Marisa Sifre, Shelby Wall, and Tabatha Welch designed a poster for the Membership Recruitment Competitive Event. The poster (pictured above) won first place at the conference. “These students worked really hard and I am so proud of their dedication to HOSA,” said Cindy Fritts, adviser.
