Nice to meet you, take me home and love me



Buffy, a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier from the Washington-Wilkes Animal Shelter, meets one-year-old Ronald Carnes at Saturday’s “I’d Rather Be in Tignall” Festival. Buffy and more than 100 other dogs are available for adoption at the shelter, and shelter association board members Mary Elizabeth Burdette and Bonnie Branch took them and several cats to the festival in an outreach to potential new owners.
