Woodmen of the World members are urged to attend a very important meeting on Tuesday, September 17, at the Berryman House restaurant in Bowman (north of Elberton on Hwy. 17) beginning at 7 p.m. A decision concerning the Woodmen Scholarship Fund money will be made. Zoah United Methodist Church will celebrate its 167th anniversary on Sunday, September 15, at 3 p.m. The guest speaker will be Rev. Heywood Dock of Martinez. The public is invited.

The “WORD” Bible Study Class Outreach Tent Service will be held Saturday, September 21, beginning at 11 a.m. “I have a testimony, Part III” is the theme of the event and anyone who would like to give a 5-10 minute testimony should notify Clara Sutton no later than September 17. Amethyst D. Wynn, pastor and evangelist, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Transforming Life Ministries on Sunday, September 22, at 3 p.m. at the Third Shiloh Center. Special guests will be emcee Larry Smith, Rev. Norman Williams and the Springfield Baptist Church praise dancers and singers, Bishop Jonathan Greer II and the Divine Love Fellowship Church of Atlanta, along with praise and worship leaders Adrienne Anderson, Jackie Heard, and Marquis Jones.
