You can be the lucky winner of this beautiful quilt

Once again this year, as in the past 10 years, the Tignall Homemakers Club will give away a beautiful handmade quilt to a lucky winner at the I’d Rather Be in Tignall Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 9. Tickets will be sold at the F&M Bank in Tignall and from any member of the Homemakers Club. Tickets will also be sold at Mule Day at Callaway Plantation where the quilt will be on display. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Sarah Pelot designed the quilt and Susannah Carter took on the responsibility of putting together this design on the quilt. The Homemakers Club president, Linda Burns, says the club is honored to have Susannah join the group as an honorary member. Linda would also like to give special thanks to Louise Harper, Sharon Bailey, Mary Webster, Sally Kennedy and another honorary member, Kitten Fain for all their great help on this beautiful quilt. This quilt has been given the name of Blue Work and work is a good name for all the dedication and hard work these ladies have put into it. Displaying the quilt are (l-r) Louise Harper, Susannah Carter, Linda Burns, Kitten Fain, and Sarah Pelot.
