Hospital is big winner at Casino Night fundraiser

Jerri Denard shows off the trophy she won at the Wills Memorial Hospital Foundation Casino Night fundraiser Saturday night, and dealers Joey Fievet, Lawrence Burton, and Lou Ricciuti don mustaches to play their parts. “Wills Memorial Hospital Month and Casino Night fundraiser has been a big success thanks to generous support from our community,” Susan D. Pope said. “Jerri Denard was the grand winner of the Casino Night. She won over $85,000 in play money and took home the prized trophy. Many people won prizes and gift certificates from local businesses. It was a really fun night for a great, local cause.” Through the sale of “WMH supporter” yard signs and the Casino Night fundraiser on Saturday, the Foundation raised over $22,000 for medical equipment, Pope said. “Every dollar that is donated to the WMH Foundation goes to purchase needed medical equipment for our hospital. We already have a new defibrillator ready for use in our ER, and we will have a new one in the OR soon. A donation to the Foundation is a good investment in the health of our community.” Jerri Denard shows off the trophy she won at the Wills Memorial Hospital Foundation Casino Night fundraiser Saturday night, and dealers Joey Fievet, Lawrence Burton, and Lou Ricciuti don mustaches to play their parts. “Wills Memorial Hospital Month and Casino Night fundraiser has been a big success thanks to generous support from our community,” Susan D.
