Tapper wins Kiwanis Talent Showcase

Tap dancer Claire Hall made great use of the stage and even the floor in front as she danced to a medley of Michael Jackson songs on her way to first place in the 34th annual Kiwanis Talent Showcase held last Friday at Washington-Wilkes Elementary School. As winner of the grades 9-12 age group, she will now go on to represent Washington in the state show later this spring. Other winners and participants in the local show may be seen in photos by Richard Crabbe on page 13 of this issue.
