President Judy Anderson and Laura Toburen, luncheon chairman, led the discussion finalizing many details about the Tour of Homes set for Saturday, April 2. Mrs. Toburen announced the luncheon menu of Paula Deen’s Hot Chicken Salad, Another Thyme’s French Bean Salad, smooth strawberry salad, hot yeast rolls, special chocolate cake, tea, and coffee at a cost of $12 per person. The luncheon will be served from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the clubhouse.

Ruthie Clements led the discussion of the docent coverage for the homes.

Judy Anderson presided and Gail Duggan read a devotional by Julia Bettencourt titled, “Spring Clean Up for Heart and Soul.” She also led the Pledge of Allegiance and offered the blessing for the luncheon.

Other business included the discussion of the list of nominees for officers for the following year.

Hostesses, Diane Jordan and Paula Butts, decorated for the luncheon using yellow cloths on the tables. Centering each table was a cluster of Easter grass and segments of colorful egg cartons that held decorative eggs and creative broken egg “vases” of spring flowers.

Present for the meeting were Judy Anderson, Laura Toburen, Ruthie Clements, Gail Duggan, Jennifer McAvoy, Wanda White, Paula Butts, Carol Jackson, Diane Jordan, Janice Scott, Mimi Henderson, Janice Vandiver, Judy Boswell, Dean Mansfield, Sharon Jones, Nancy Madden, Holly Lunceford, Marcia Delany, Kathy Agan, and guest, Majlinda Miller.
