Jesus is the minister to all mankind

(Romans 15:8-14)

We who have accepted Jesus to be our Saviour must realize that He is the minister to the believer and the nonbeliever because He is the Saviour of the whole world even though the whole world has not yet accepted Him. Therefore, because of this, Jesus loves us all and wants what is best for all of us.

Paul says, “That Jesus Christ was a minster of the circumcision for the truth of God to confirm the promises made. (verse 8) And to the Gentiles that they may glorify God for his mercy.” (verse 9a) This includes the whole world, and God through Jesus Christ is concerned for the welfare of all mankind.

Paul says in verses 10 through 12 that this is the reason I will confess all of you to God for his mercy toward all of mankind. Paul encourages all to glorify God for his mercy and to confess our ways to Him in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Saviour of all mankind, who will hear God’s message of salvation from sin.

Paul says there shall be a root (a decedent) of Jesse and he shall rise to reign over the Gentiles (meaning the whole world) and we must all come to trust in Him, meaning Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son. We are living in that time frame because we can see our world becoming smaller and smaller. We, today, can communicate on any given day to any place in our known world in a matter of seconds.

God knew this was coming and He has prepared us for this through His Son Jesus, the Saviour of the whole world. One day mankind will come to know of God’s all-encompassing love for mankind.

Paul encourages us toward faith in God through Jesus when he says, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. (verse 13)

Paul says, “I myself am persuaded of you, my brethren, that you also are full of goodness and knowledge.” (verse 14)
