She passed the July 2016 bar examination and is now full licensed to practice law in the state of New York.

Miss Albertson, a 2009 graduate of Washington-Wilkes comprehensive High School, is the daughter of Steve and Daphne Albertson of Washington, both of whom traveled to Albany to celebrate.

Miss Albertson is also a 2013 graduate of the Honors College of the University of Georgia and a 2016 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. She is currently employed as a law clerk for the Honorable Barbara D. Crowell in the New Castle County Family Court in Wilmington, Delaware.

Following her clerkship, Miss Albertson plans to work for a non-profit legal organization in New York City providing legal services to people who cannot afford an attorney. While looking forward to living in New York where she spends her time trying out new recipes, reading, working out, and volunteering with incarcerated youth, she continues to enjoy returning for visits with family and friends in Washington and cheering on her Georgia Bulldogs.

Miss Albertson is the granddaughter of Sara Pruitt and the late Austin Pruitt.
