Variety of charges filed in roundup of recent law enforcement arrests

A variety of charges ranging from possession of marijuana and shoplifting to terroristic threats and acts and possession of tools for the commission of crime composed the latest roundup of arrests in Wilkes County during July and late June. The listed arrests are taken from the limited information in arrest reports provided by local law enforcement officials, and no arrests are left out. An arrest does not imply guilt; criminal charges are merely accusations and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty and convicted. Bond and/or release notes contained in this report are as of July 28, 2017.

Sherry Lynn Mauldin, 48, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputies on July 24 and charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction of an EMT, and obstruction of an officer, felony (three counts). Bond was set at $63,700 but no release was noted.

Reginald Luke, 36, of Rayle was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Gene Amos on July 19 and charged with battery and cruelty to children (two counts). He was released on $15,000 bond.

Lisa Luke, 45, of Rayle was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Andy Edwards on July 18 and charged with simple battery and cruelty to children (two counts). She was released on $13,500 bond.

Alexica Kenyette Harper, 32, of Conyers, Georgia, was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Scott Langham on July 23 and charged with driving under the influence. She was released on $814 bond.

Keyshawn Traymont Hines, 19, of Thomson, Georgia, was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Scott Langham on July 21 and charged with possession of marijuana misdemeanor and speeding. He was released on $2,024 bond.

Joshua Cameron Vickrey, 28, of White, Georgia, was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Scott Langham on July 20 and charged with speeding 26-30 miles per hour over and driving while license withdrawn. He was released on $910 bond.

Scarlett Zea, 45, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Carani on July 19 and charged with theft by shoplifting. She was released on $400 bond.

Quenton Brooks Suddeth, 32, of Rayle was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Lewis on July 19 and charged with transactions in drug-related objects; forfeitures and penalty; driving under the influence, speeding 26-30 miles per hour over, and open container in vehicle. He was released on $1,429 bond.

Teresa Whitaker McNair, 63, of Stapleton, Georgia, was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Thomas Bailey on July 12 and charged with deposit account fraud. She was released on $219.44 bond.

Kelvin Kitchens, 60, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy D.J. King on July 15 and charged with driving under the influence, fleeing or attempting to elude police officer, open container in vehicle, failure to drive within a single lane, and obstruction of an officer (misdemeanor). He was released on $10,828 bond.

Jessica Aisha Everette, 29, of Augusta, Georgia, was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Carani on July 14 and charged with simple battery and family violence. Required bond was $3,700. No release was noted.

Nerieda Fajardo Bebitez, 29, of Gainesville was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Neal Frankel on July 16 and charged with driving without a license, speeding in a highway work zone. She was released on $926 bond.

Brenda Fuller Kennedy, 63, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Tommy Land on July 13 and charged with terroristic threats and acts. No bond was noted.

Christ Levon Roebuck, 43, of Tignall was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Gene Amon on July 14 and charged with forgery in the first degree. He was released on $5,200 bond.

Forrest Wayne Perry, 29, of Hull, Georgia, was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Robby Turner on July 17 and charged with failure to appear. No bond was noted.

Crystal Anna Weeks, 31, of Augusta was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Latoria Porter on July 10 and charged with a court bench warrant. She was transferred to Richmond County.

Terrence D. Holloway, 31, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Darracott on June 29 and charged with disorderly conduct, battery, and obstruction of a officer (misdemeanor). Bond was set at $5,416. No release was noted.

Joseph A. Guin, 34, of Crawfordville was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Lewis on July 9 and charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana (misdemeanor), and a windshield/ wipers violation. He was released on $1,771 bond.

Curtis Lee Anderson, 53, of Tignall was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Scott Langham on July 1 and charged with a seat belt violation, driving while license is withdrawn (second offense), and driving under the influence. He was released on his own recognizance.

Jaelyn Demontae Jones, 17, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Carani on July 1 and charged with theft by shoplifting. He was released on $400 bond.

Bobby Norman, 54, of Washington was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Shawn Browder on July 5 and charged with expired vehicle tag/decal, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and driving without a license. He was released on $3,312 bond.

Ricky Lee Wright, 51, of Warrenton was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper H. Lewis on July 4 and charged with a seat belt violation and driving with a suspended or revoked license. He was released on $1,460 bond.

Donald Lee Hicks II, 41, of Rayle was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Keith Lyons on June 23 and charged with obstruction of an officer (misdemeanor), a state probation violation, and arson in the first degree. Bond was set at $11,346. No release was noted.

Charles Edward Weaver, 49, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Darracott on June 24 and charged with a state probation violation and battery family violence. Bond was set at $3,700. No release was noted.

Sherman Redzuees Blackmon, 38, of Washington was arrested on June 27 and charged with “tires, sales of responsible motor vehicles, lighted headlights required at certain times,” and driving while license is withdrawn. He was released on $2,150 bond.

Charles Brandon Berry, 28, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Thomas Bailey on June 28 and charged with possession of tools for the commission of crime, Schedule IV, possession of marijuana (misdemeanor), and illegal possession of a controlled substance. He was released on $41,200 bond.
