Leslie Ray Robb

A memorial service for Leslie Ray “Les” Robb, 71, of Courtground Road in Washington, was held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Phillips Mill Baptist Church. He entered into rest on Tuesday, July 26, at his residence.

Mr. Robb was a native of Decatur, Georgia and had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and had worked in sales in the hose and rubber accessories industry.

Since 1992, he had lived in Wilkes County and had worked as a service technician for CSRA M&M Office Products. His interests included fishing, hunting, photography, farming, and tinkering.

Survivors include his wife, Jan L. Robb; a son Leslie Ray Robb Jr. of Lexington, S.C.; a brother, Harry K. Robb Jr. of Lakeland, Florida; sisters Minnette Sailors of Atlanta, and Kay Streater of Ormond Beach, Florida.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Wills Memorial Hospital.

Beggs Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
