Month’s arrests made in Wilkes County include murder, drug, forgery charges

Murder, drug offenses related to methamphetamine, forgery, and aggravated assault were among the more serious charges filed in arrests made in Wilkes County during August and late July. The listed arrests are taken from the limited information in arrest reports provided by local law enforcement officials, and no arrests are left out. An arrest does not imply guilt; criminal charges are merely accusations and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty and convicted. Bond and/or release notes contained in this report are as of August 25, 2017.

Jarvis Lamont Milton, 30, of Washington was arrested by­Wilkes County Sheriff ’s Deputy Jerry Hackney on August 14 and charged with felony murder and possession of a firearm while trying to commit crimes. Bond was denied.

Tyrique Demarquez Pender, 19, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Philiph Perkins on August 15 and charged with armed robbery, intimidation, taking control of substance; aggravated assault; and participation in criminal gang activity. Bond was denied.

Paul Mickel McKittrick, 36, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Tommy Land on August 3 and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and possession of drug-related objects. He was released on $83,700 bond.

Antonio Lamont Young, 32, of Athens, Georgia, was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy D.J. King Jr. on August 4 and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, tampering with evidence, obstruction of officers, driving while license suspended, failure to maintain lane, and attempting to elude police. He was released on $66,760 bond.

Zackery Lee Hudson, 33, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Adam Posey on August 3, and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Bond was set at $60,200. He was later transferred to the Lincoln County jail for safety reasons.

Curtis Demarcus Milton, 35, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy D.J. King Jr. on August 2 and charged with forgery in the fourth degree (six counts). Bond was set at $30,200 but no release was noted.

Allison M. Anderson, 34, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Johnny Crookham on August 22 and charged with aggravated assault. She was released on $15,200 bond.

Zackery James Lee Knarr, 18, of Tignall was arrested by­Wilkes County Sheriff ’s Deputy John Rhodes on July 25 and charged with burglary in the first degree. Bond was set at $15,000 but no release was noted.

Christavian Jaswuan Doubilet, 17, of Washington was arrested by ­Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy John Rhodes on August 3 and charged with forgery in the first degree. He was released on $8,200 bond.

Antaveous Dashawn Sturges, 18, of Tignall was arrested by­Wilkes County Sheriff ’s Deputy John Rhodes on August 3 and charged with forgery in the first degree. Bond was set at $8,000 but no release was noted.

Jonathan Russell White, 27, of Grovetown, Georgia, was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff Deputy Felicia Bridges on August 23, and charged with failure to appear. No release was noted.

David Ricardo Jefferson, 24, of Tignall, was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff Deputy Adam Posey on August 22, and charged with a CSRA probation violation. No release was noted.

Michael Christopher Gonzalez, 37, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Gene Amos on August 16 and charged with simple battery (family violence). He was released on a transfer on August 19.

Rudolph Whimbush, 31, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Gene Amos on August 16 and charged with theft by shoplifting. He was released to the court on $400 bond.

Chad Edwin Dunn, 43, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Keith Lyons on August 14 and charged with (Contempt) child support, possession of arms by a convicted felon and first offender probation, and a state probation violation. Bond was set at $5,200 but no release was noted.

Jessica Kay Lincoln, 27, of Thomson, Georgia, was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Will Callaway on August 17 and charged with driving while license is withdrawn. She was leased on $715 bond.

Akiem Davis, 26, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Andy Edwards on August 3 and charged with entering an automobile or other motor vehicle with intent of felony, and a state probation violation. Bond was set at $8,200 but no release was noted.

Amy Shaina Burns, 24, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Darracott on August 15 and charged with forgery in the first degree (two counts). Bond was set at $4,500 for each count. No release was noted.

Tracy Arnold Stevens, 51, of Washington was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper H. Lewis on August 16 and charged with driving while license is withdrawn, and a safety belt violation. He was released on $1,460 bond.

Jose Antonio Canova Ortiz, 43, of Washington was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Scott Langham on August 12 and charged with driving without a license, open container in vehicle, and driving under the influence. He was released on $3,368 bond.

Israel Nmn Arellano Rodriguez, 21 of Winterville, Georgia, was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper H. Lewis on August 8 and charged with driving without a license, failure to drive within a single lane, and failure to provide assistance or to report an accident. He was released on $1,305 bond.

Mario Hernandez Aviles, 19, of Dahlonega, Georgia, was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Shawn Browder on August 12 and charged with failure to maintain lane, driving under the influence, failure to report an accident with injury, and driving while unlicensed. He was released for a fine paid totaling $2,119.

Aaron Cecil Dills, 20, of Washington was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Brent Marxsen on August 12 and charged with failure to maintain lane, too fast for conditions, and driving under the influence when under 21 years of age. He was released on $2,318 bond.

Lucreda Hill Coots, 46, of Washington was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Gene Amos on August 10 and charged with theft by shoplifting. She was released on $432 bond.

Alfonzo Lavonta Stewart, 30, of Washington was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Trooper Scott Langham on August 12 and charged with driving under the influence and speeding in a construction zone. He was released on $994 bond.

Robert Vincent Wilson, 47, of Tignall was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy M. Turner on August 8 and charged with a CSRA probation violation and sentenced to 15 days.

Angela Val Kosobud, 48, of Swainsboro, Georgia, was arrested by Georgia State Patrol Master Trooper Delston Branch on August 7 and charged with failure to drive within a single lane, driving under the influence, open container in vehicle, and failure to provide assistance or report an accident. She was released on $3,118 bond.

Richard Lee Stroud, 28, of Washington was arrested by Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Jerry Hackney on August 14 and charged with a parole violation. No release was noted.

Nathaniel Dewuan Cullars IV, 19, of Washington was arrested by­Wilkes County Sheriff’s Deputy Tommy Land on August 6 and charged with simple battery. He was released on $5,200 bond.
