Tignall’s mural will depict bygone days

Progress on the new mural located on the side of the hardware store in Tignall has begun, thanks to University of Georgia art department student Ben Thrash (right) and project leader and recent graduate Gunner Tarsa (left). The pair is joined by art students Young Lim Lee, Hannah Dougan, and Professor of Art Joseph Norman. The group has successfully completed two murals already this year, including one in Rutledge and another in Athens featuring varying artistic scenes. Their newest mural, however, is set to depict an antiquated scene of Tignall’s bygone days.
