Tickets available for year’s best pancakes

The popular annual Rotary Pancake Supper will be held Friday, October 20, at the Washington-Wilkes Elementary School cafeteria beginning at 5 p.m. and tickets are now available. In fact, you don’t really need a ticket – all you have to do is show up and get your ticket at the door while Rotarians like Bob Johnston (above) and others prepare and serve batch after batch of delicious pancakes and sausage. The menu is simple but fabulous – homemade pancakes grilled to perfection from the Rotary Club’s secret 50-year-old recipe, tasty sausage, milk, tea, and plenty of butter and syrup. W-WCHS Interact club members will also be on hand to keep plates full and appetites satisfied.
