Pauline Chapel F.B.H. Church will celebrate the 17th pastoral anniversary for Pastor Kimberly Leverette and Tracy Leverette on Saturday, November 4, at 3 p.m. with guest speaker Pastor Tonita Cody. Dinner will be served.

Gresham and the choir and members of Reeves Chapel Baptist Church. The community is invited to attend. Dinner will be served in the church fellowship hall immediately after the service.

The “I’d Rather Be In Tignall” Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, November 11, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

New Ford Baptist Church and the CSRA Ministerial Alliance will sponsor their annual Veterans Day Worship Service at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, at the Third Shiloh Rev. G.L. Avery Center. The guest Speaker will be Deacon Johnny Bankston, retired Army National Guard Service Member and active leader in the Wilkes County community and Sunday School Union. The public is invited and encouraged to participate.

The Spirited Speakers Toastmaster Club of Wilkes and Lincoln Counties will meet November 2, 16, 30, December 7, and 21. If you are at least 18 years of age and desire to improve your communication and leadership skills, you are invited to attend. The BreasTest and More Program at the Wilkes County Health Department has help to assist in paying for mammograms for the uninsured when funding is available. Clients must be 40-64 years of age, have no health insurance, and meet certain financial requirements.
