Beautification efforts are continuing in 2nd phase at Tignall

TIGNALL – that little town north of Washington.

If you have been following The News-Reporter for the last several months, you know how really proud we (the North Wilkes Steering Committee) are of our mural on the side of Tignall Hardware.

Well, we are now in the second phase of our beautification of Tignall. We are painting the green trim on the old Bolton Store (the building depicted in the mural). Also, we are placing planted pots around town. These improvements will be in place for our “I’d Rather Be in Tignall” Fall Festival on Saturday, the 11th of November.

While at our festival, please stop by our North Wilkes Steering Committee booth and make a contribution to our beautification efforts or purchase a brick in memory or in honor of a loved one for the walkway to our gazebo.

See you on the 11th,
