Amanda and Wright Gunter honored at Sardis Baptist baby shower Nov. 5

Amanda and Wright Gunter of Rayle were honored at a baby shower Sunday afternoon, November 5, given by the ladies of Sardis Baptist Church in the fellowship hall.

Mrs. Gunter was presented with a corsage of gypsophila tied with blue ribbon.

The front door of the fellowship hall was decorated with a deer hanging in keeping with the natural theme.

Guests registered at a table covered with an ecru crocheted tablecloth. A milk pail holding an arrangement of sunflowers along with John Deere toolboxes and lunchboxes decorated this table.

Tables were covered with Army Navy cloths overlaid with a green and white checkered cloth. A large wood monogram of DGW for David Wright Gunter centered the gift table along with a John Deere tractor and wagon. White milk pitchers with sunflower arrangements flanked these tables. Ferns were used in decorating throughout the fellowship hall.

Guests enjoyed a cheese ring with crackers, miniature cupcakes, chocolate fudge, chocolate covered peanut butter balls, salsa and dip, chips and dip, fruit, and punch.

Special guests included the couple’s daughters, Lexi and Harley Moon; prospective paternal grandmother, Monica Gunter, and paternal great-grandmother, Peggy Walker.
