First Baptist Pre-k donates canned goods to Stephen’s House



In the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christian love, kids at the First Baptist Church Pre-k have been collecting canned goods during the month of November for the Stephen’s House ministry. Margie Burke (not shown) and Pastor Alec George picked up the canned goods last Friday just prior to the students’ departure for Thanksgiving holidays. (Editor’s note: In case you’re wondering how to prepare for your Thanksgiving meal, young Waylon Callaway advised, “How to Cook a Turkey: 1. I’ll take my BB gun to the woods and shoot the turkey. 2. Then I’ll pluck him and stuff him, then it will be over. 3. My mommy will boil it for 80 hours.
