A Christmas Carol opens this Friday for five shows at Lunceford Playhouse

The cast of the Washington Little Theater’s A Christmas Carol finished preparing for opening night this week with a “wonderful” final dress rehearsal.

The cast, which numbers over 50 local actors and crew members, has been busily preparing and rehearsing since September to bring Charles Dickens’ classic to life for five performances over the next two weekends. The Friday and Saturday performances on December 8, 9, 15, and 16 are at 7:30 p.m. and the single Sunday matinee is at 3 p.m.

Reservations are filling up fast and patrons are encouraged to make reservations early by calling 706- 678-9582.

A Christmas Carol is directed by Dr. Stan Coe and features familiar local talent such as Tom Duggan, Rose Weser, Angie Bailey, Sherri Bowers, and Michael Bowen, as well as several new actors such as Scott Brown, Jacquez Kennebrew, LeighAnna Harper, Jennifer Sanders, and Gracie Henderson.
