Hice sets ‘Mobile Office Hours’ here to offer help with resources

In an ongoing effort to provide excellent constituent services, Congressman Jody Hice will host “Mobile Office Hours” with an opportunity for 10th District residents in Wilkes County to meet with his staff this month.

A constituent services representative will be in Washington next Tuesday, January 16, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce office on The Square. A representative of U.S. Senator David Perdue’s staff will also be on hand.

Mobile Office Hours provide residents, who are unable to visit the Congressman’s office and need assistance with federal benefits, the opportunity to meet with a knowledgeable member of his staff. Directly connecting Georgia families with the help and resources they need is one of Congressman Hice’s top priorities.

“I understand the challenge of busy lives and hectic schedules and that not everyone has the opportunity to meet during normal weekday hours or in our regular offices,” Hice said. “That’s why we’ll be bringing our office to you. If you need assistance with a federal agency, I encourage you to stop by the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce office between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16.”

In 2017, Congressman Hice’s constituent services team helped return $13.6 million in grants, casework, and scholarships to 10th District residents.
