Mary Leigh Barrett dedicated on May 13 at FBC in Monroe


Mary Leigh Barrett Mary Leigh Barrett Mary Leigh Barrett, six-week-old daughter of Rebecca and Zach Barrett of Monroe, was dedicated during the morning worship service on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, at First Baptist Church in Monroe. Rev. Todd Ware of Monroe officiated.

For the dedication Mary Leigh wore a pink dress smocked with white crosses.

Present for the dedication with Mary Leigh, her parents and her sister, Hannah Grey, were her grandparents, Alicia and Jim DeWeese of Washington and Karen and Kevin Barrett of Monroe; great-grandparents, Mary and David Carter of Winder and Sheila and Frank Conner of Monroe; great-aunt and uncle, Donna and Ken Landers of Covington and Lynn Chabayta of Douglasville; aunts, uncles, and cousins, Kristen and Jason De- Weese, Matthew and Emma Claire, of Dalton, and Carrie and Jessie Owens, Sophie Grace and Cate, of Monroe.

The family enjoyed a chicken dinner with lots of delicious accompaniments with cake squares topped with pink crosses for dessert.
