Bible Study Class tent service to ask ‘Why hate when it’s easier to love?’

The “WORD” Bible Study Class annual tent service is scheduled for Saturday, September 15, at 11 a.m. at 415 Lexington Avenue (vacant lot across from Jackson Street), in Washington. If there is rain, it will be held at the Third Shiloh Rev. G.L. Avery Center at 219 McLendon Drive.

The theme this year is “Why Hate When It’s Easier to Love. For God is Love, 1 John 4:8,” based on 1 John 4:15-21. Apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, preachers, Bible teachers, members of the church, and friends are asked to give 5-10-minute mini-sermons or speeches on the theme.
