The revelation to John continues

By REV. FICKLEN GUIN
(Revelation 6:12-13)

Jesus continues The Revelation to John as He opens the sixth seal: “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.” (verse 12)

We have not yet experienced this period of time on earth. But we have and do experience earthquakes that remind us that we are living on a live planet that is changing with the period of time for all mankind and God’s creation. This should be a warning to us.

This is the reason God sent his special angel to John on the Island of Patmos, and gave to him The Revelation, and then carried John in the Spirit for this visit with God in Heaven to warn us about the happenings of the future.

We must bring ourselves to a spiritual awakening and get ready for the future that will involve our spiritual souls that God gives to mankind, whom God makes in His likeness when we are born again.

John says, “And the stars of Heaven fall unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.” (verse 13)

Verses 12 and 13 lets us know that the end time of this Earth we live on as physical human beings, is drawing nearer and we must be ready to leave this Earth.

We must not let ourselves wait around for a moment like this that verse 13 describes. That will be putting ourselves into spiritual danger. We are in physical danger every day of our lives because we do not know when death will come. God has given to us His word, the Bible, to help us get ready by coming to have a spiritual salvation experience by repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus to be the Saviour of our souls.

Now is the time to be ready to meet God. Therefore, in The Revelation, John is told by God to give to us this message about the sixth seal, that should awaken us in a spiritual manner to accept Jesus to be our Saviour and be ready for the end time to our physical lives on Earth. When our physical life on Earth comes to an end for any of us, we must have already repented of our sins and accepted Jesus to be our Saviour and Lord of our lives, and we have been born again in the name of Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son.
