The revelation to John continues

By REV. FICKLEN GUIN
(Revelation 6:14-17)

After the opening of the six seals by Jesus, the Lamb of God, we are given a conclusion to these activities. We are to open our spiritual mind and heart to a spiritual readiness for the end time on this Earth.

The opening of the six seals should be enough to make us aware that God does have an End Time for life on this earth for our physical being and for our eternal spiritual place in Heaven for our spiritual souls as believers in Jesus Christ.

After the sixth seal is opened and revealed, we are told by Jesus’ special angel to John, “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” (verse 14)

There will be a movement on Earth that will let all of mankind know that God’s Promise of End Time is beginning on Earth.

What will take place on Earth with those who are alive? It says, “And the kings of the earth, and the great men and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains.” (verse 15)

We cannot imagine what our nightly news media on Earth will be talking about when this happens. There will be physical, mental, and emotional disturbance all over the world and panic by everyone who has not trusted in Jesus as their Saviour.

There will be cries all over the known world of mankind saying, “To the mountains and rocks. “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.” All that we have been told throughout the ages of time in the Old and New Testaments will be taking place concerning the End Time as God says it will.

All those who have repented of their sins and accepted Jesus as their Saviour will not be in panic. “For the great day of his wrath is come and who shall be able to stand?” (verse 17) We are given the answer in chapter seven; all believers in Jesus as Saviour will be safe in the arms of God.
