New president takes over for Kiwanis



Linda Jordan (left) was installed as the 2018-19 president of the Washington Kiwanis at the club’s October 2 meeting, after concluding a year as Kiwanis vice-president. She succeeds Richard Crabbe, who served as president for two years. Jordan is involved in a number of activities the club supports, including the Wilkes County 4-H air rifle competition team, and she is on the board of of the W-WPRD youth soccer recreational league. Jordan is the director of Creative Kids Korner day care center in Washington. She was installed by Division Six Lt. Governor Jeff Drake (right) of the Augusta Kiwanis Club.
