Kettle Creek DAR members travel to Thomson October 3


OB McCorkle OB McCorkle The Kettle Creek Chapter, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, traveled to Thomson Wednesday, October 3, to meet with host chapter, Captain John Wilson Chapter DAR.

The Kettle Creek DAR joined the Thomson chapter and the Burkhalter Chapter DAR from Warrenton at Highrail Southern Eatery for the luncheon meeting.

Karen Holley, regent of Captain John Wilson DAR, welcomed everyone and members and guests heard the President General’s message, the Indian minute, and National Defense message.

OB McCorkle from the Warrenton chapter presented the program speaking on the DAR Schools and led NSDAR/GSSDAR news and questions.

Attending from the Kettle Creek DAR were Peggy Jones, regent, Nina Albea, and Fran Thaxton.
