The revelation to John continues

By REV. FICKLEN GUIN
(Revelation 7:13-17)

When all of this comes to pass in our lives here on Earth as Believers in Jesus Christ, who have repented of our sins and accepted Jesus as our Saviour, and have been baptized and joined God’s Church on Earth, and served God through our earthly life, we can be rewarded by God in the name of Jesus Christ by the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

How will our reward take place? We are told in the seventh chapter of Revelation, “And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, ‘What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence come they?’” (verse 13)

This verse lets us know that this will be the most special moment in our lives, because we are dressed in white signifying purity because we have repented of our sins and accepted Jesus to be our Saviour and God, our Heavenly Father will reward us.

We will be able to have the right answer for our lives, when our physical life comes to an end, and we are able to answer the most important question for our lives concerning our sins.

We will all be able to say, “Sir thou knowest. And he said unto me, ‘These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” (verse 14)

Then we are told, “Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.” (verse 15)

What is so wonderful about all of this? It causes us to be filled with eternal joy to think about that day coming to pass in our lives. We are given the answer by the Angel who spoke to John in The Revelation. He says, “They (meaning us as believers in Jesus Christ) shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun light in them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of water; and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” (verses 16, 17) Amen, amen. Amen!! We are moving each day toward this day when we meet Jesus in Heaven.
