Ghosts will revisit Resthaven Saturday

Kids and history lovers of all ages are welcome to the creepy (yet educational) tour of a 200-year-old cemetery in Washington, Georgia, in the dark. Ghosts will stand at their own graves, telling visitors about their lives. “Resthaven Revisited,” sponsored by the Washington-Wilkes Historical Foundation, set for Saturday night, October 20, from 6-9 p.m. is intended to be “great for the whole family!” Tickets will be sold beginning at 5 p.m. on the day of the event for $10 (adult) and $5 (student) at the Chamber of Commerce office on The Square. Transportation between the Chamber and the cemetery (a three-minute ride) will be provided. Call 706-678-5001 for more information.
