Hice’s Mobile Office Hours to offer assistance on Wed.

The office of Congressman Jody Hice will host Mobile Office Hours with two opportunities for 10th District residents to meet with his staff this month. In Wilkes County, representatives will visit on Wednesday, October 24, and a staff member from U.S. Senator David Perdue’s office will also attend.

These events provide residents the chance to sit down with a knowledgeable member of Hice’s team in their own community to discuss concerns, share priorities, or seek help with a federal agency.

“While I’m in Washington, I’m proud that my office can offer direct support to residents throughout the 10th Congressional District,” said Congressman Hice. “Too often, my team and I hear from people who are struggling under the burdensome rules and regulations of federal agencies and discouraged by its agonizingly slow process.

“If you need help with a federal agency – such as Social Security, Medicare, the IRS, or the VA – stop by our upcoming event at the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce. My staff is eager to speak with you and help in any way possible.”

The congressman will also host Mobile Office Hours in Oglethorpe County earlier the same day. Times and locations are as follows:

In Wilkes County from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the Washington-Wilkes Chamber of Commerce on The Square in Washington.

In Oglethorpe County from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Oglethorpe County Farm Bureau, 925 Athens Road, in Crawford.
