Jessica Alyss Moore Obituary

Graveside services for Jessica Alyss Moore, 33, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2024, at Danburg Baptist Church, 164 Bradford Road in Tignall, Georgia, with Rev. Donald Walton officiating. Interment followed at the Danburg Baptist Church cemetery. She died Sunday, January 3, 2024.

Jessica Moore was born August 31, 1987, and was a truly beautiful young woman both inside and out, and she was loved and adored by her family, coworkers, and a host of friends. She was kind, loving, and just a little bit sassy with a personality and contagious laugh that lit up any room she entered.

Jessica’s early years were spent in Danburg, Georgia, and then Orlando, Florida, where she graduated from East Ridge High School in 2005. She then graduated from Augusta State University in 2013, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Criminal Justice.

Jessica was employed by DFACS as a case worker for social services in several local counties serving as an advocate for children. She was always busy at Christmastime making sure these often-forgotten children had gifts to open on Christmas morning. When not working, Jessica enjoyed spending time with her large circle of friends to whom she was fiercely loyal, and they will all miss her dearly for her beautiful, spunky spirit.
